This was my first ever cooking video! I made these Jell-O shots last year for my mom’s birthday and they turned out to be a crowd pleaser, so I’m bringing them back to the spotlight! They were fun, festive, and tasted as good as they looked. Keep these in mind, as some food for thought, for birthdays, tailgates, cocktail parties, Valentine’s / Galentine’s Day, and more.
Ingredients:
White Cran-Strawberry Juice
Knox original unflavored Gelatin
André Brut
Sprinkles
Mini cups with to-go lids
Directions:
Pour 1/2 cup of the white cran-strawberry juice into a bowl.
Sprinkle 2 packs of the unflavored gelatin over the top of the cran-strawberry juice and set it aside to allow the gelatin to bloom.
Add the rest of the white cran-strawberry juice which is 1 cup to a saucepan and heat over medium-high heat.
Remove the pot from the heat immediately after it starts boiling.
Mix the hot juice into the bowl with juice and gelatin mixture. Stir until all of the gelatin has dissolved.
Add the champagne 1.5 cups to the bowl and mix briefly to combine. You don’t want to stir it too much or it will lose all of its fizz.
Pour the champagne mixture into jello shot cups.
Put in the refrigerator for about 4 hours.
The jello shots can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days before serving at your party!
Add sprinkles on top right before you serve them.
